This was one of the most crucial elements of construction that could take place at Lucite Internation. The ACH4 flue stack had to remain in operation whilst the new support structure was built in and around the existing frame. The whole site could not run without this stack remaining in operation. Tension control bolts were used to ensure that all fixings were in place and tightened prior to the original structure being removed that BGP had previously condemned as it was at the end of its useful life.
