Due to increased demand, a new warehouse with associated laboratory and offices was required for the existing processes which are used in the manufacturing and blending of Electrolyte for EV car batteries.
The works included significant ground remediation prior to the installation of new piled foundations and the building’s superstructure is a steel frame with a fully reinforced concrete heavy duty suspended ground floor slab.
Finally, surface water drainage was attenuated by oversized pipes prior to a restricted discharge into the nearby watercourse.
