Lynwood House is a purpose built, mixed development, comprising 33No. 2 bedroom luxury apartments for the over 55s, a GP surgery and facilities for open use by the local community. Luxury independent living accommodation was provided to the meet the requirements of older people in the local area.
The properties are constructed to meet the Code for Sustainable Homes level 3. A doctor’s surgery was included to replace a dated premises which now provides a fresh setting, with modern medical facilities for increasing patient numbers.
Finally, community space in the form of a coffee lounge, meeting rooms and communal outdoor patio were included to integrate the whole community in the facility.
